Belgium suffered heavily during World War I. The province of West Flanders suffered especially hard and was devastated after 4 years of trench warfare.
In 2020 Project Phoenix launched as a series of temporary exhibits throughout the province to show visitors how their surroundings looked after World War I and how the reconstruction afterwards progressed.
Our company was chosen to create a number of 3D visualizations for an exposition in Diksmuide (Belgium) about the devastation and reconstruction of the city during and after World War I.
I worked on the project as an environment and 3D artist.

What a war can cause in damages. Luckily people could rebuild. Very beautiful, clear and interesting.
